To Make These Beef Sliders With Cranberry Bacon Jam

You’ll need:

Ground Beef – For this recipe, I’m using SunFed Ranch 100% Grass Fed, Natural Ground Beef. Ground beef is so versatile when it comes to cooking or grilling! SunFed Ranch exclusively sources free-range cattle that’s raised on local American ranches – without antibiotics, GMOs, or added hormones. That’s what I call clean protein with no compromise! They have a great selection of organic meats also. They are tender and so delicious!

Bacon – Regular cut or thick cut bacon will work here for the cranberry bacon jam.

Cranberries – Fresh cranberries are ideal. They’re in season and can be found just about anywhere.

Butter – Butter is used alongside bacon drippings to caramelize the onion. It adds that much more flavor to the cranberry bacon jam.

Yellow Onion – Onion gets finely chopped and sautéed until about caramelized.

Garlic – Garlic makes everything better!

Balsamic Vinegar – I add a splash of balsamic vinegar for a deep flavor.

Toppings – Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, and red onions.

Dinner Rolls – Here, I’m using dinner rolls. Dinner rolls are the perfect size for these beef sliders. I slice them in half and toast them in the oven for just a few minutes. Make sure you don’t overdo it and burn them!

Salt And Pepper.

Start by making the cranberry bacon jam. Cook bacon in a skillet. Set the bacon aside and discard half of the bacon drippings, leaving half in the skillet. Melt butter in the same skillet and add onion and garlic. Sauté the onion and garlic just until about caramelized. Add the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, water, and salt to the skillet and give it a good stir. Chop the bacon into tiny pieces and add it to the skillet with the fresh cranberries. Place the lid on and let it cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Place the ground beef in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Mix it with a fork. Divide the beef into 8 balls. Use your hands to form 8 patties, set them aside. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the beef patties 2 minutes per side. Add cheddar cheese on top of the patties during the last 30 seconds of cooking time so it gets melted.

Assemble the sliders by first spreading the cranberry bacon jam on the toasted, sliced dinner rolls, then placing lettuce, beef patties with cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and onion. Place the top bun and place a toothpick through the top to hold the sliders together.
