The pork tenderloin is that cut of meat that reminds me of the chicken breast. It can be dressed up nicely and the reward for those few minutes is so worth it!

I’ve created a marinade that gives it a punch of flavor and the orange zest for garnish seals the deal! This pork tenderloin is great served alongside roasted maple butternut squash and brussels sprouts on a chilly night like this.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 2 oranges
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the first orange into wedges. With the second orange, first zest and then juice.

  2. In a gallon sized ziplock bag, combine olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, brown sugar, garlic, orange wedges, orange zest, orange juice, salt, and pepper. Close the bag and toss until well combined. Add pork tenderloin. Place into refrigerator and marinade for 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
