Ingredients
  • 6 tbsp butter, unsalted
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds of sirloin steak (new york strip or ribeye will work too), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 12 oz bag of fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat skillet over medium/high heat. Make sure it's sizzling hot before adding the butter. Melt 3 tbsp butter in skillet. Add half of the garlic and steak. Cook for 1 minute and flip. Cook for 1 more minute. Transfer to a plate.

  3. Melt 3 tbsp of additional butter in the skillet. Add remaining garlic, green beans, and 2 tbsp of water. Cover with lid and steam for 3-4 minutes. Remove lid and cook for 1 more minute, this will evaporate the water.

  4. Push the green beans to one side of the skillet. Add steak and it's juices back to the pan. Remove from heat and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the steak.
