Cinnamon Sugar Grilled Pineapple
Cinnamon sugar grilled pineapple is an easy and healthy dessert that takes a few minutes to prep and grill. Finished results are sweet, cinnamon-y, and caramelized pineapple chunks.

- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 whole ripe pineapple
- vegetable oil or cooking spray (to oil the grill grates)
In a small bowl combine, sugar and cinnamon, set aside.
Cut the top and bottom off from the pineapple. Slice the outer skin off. Cut into 4 spears. Then cut the center core out and cut each spear in half, lengthwise. You will have a total of 8 spears.
Optional: Thread the pineapple spears on grilling skewers, or leave spears as is.
Sprinkle all sides of the prepped pineapple spears with cinnamon sugar mixture.
Preheat grill to medium/high heat. Spray the grill grates with cooking spray or brush with vegetable oil. Grill pineapple for 8-10 minutes, or until preferred level of charred-ness is achieved, rotating half way through cooking time. Serve warm.
