Lavender simple syrup is perfect for sweetening beverages like lattes or lemonade. It’s only three ingredients and takes about 25 minutes from start to finish. Keeps up to a month in the refrigerator.
Add filtered water to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil.
Add granulated sugar to the boiling water and stir until dissolved.
Add lavender to the saucepan and stir. Turn off heat and remove saucepan from heat source. Let steep for 20 minutes.
Strain syrup with a mesh strainer and pour into desired container.
Keep syrup in the refrigerator in an airtight container for one month or room temperature for one week.
