Mustard Glazed Salmon

MUSTARD GLAZED SALMON

Ingredients
  

  • 2 to 2 1/2 pounds salmon fillet boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup stone-ground mustard*
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar packed
  • 3 tbsp fresh chives sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Season salmon with salt and pepper on both sides and place on baking sheet. In a small bowl, whisk together mustard, butter, and brown sugar. Spread mustard glaze onto salmon.
  • Bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Let cool for 5 minutes. Top with fresh chives and serve.

Notes

* Whole grain mustard can be substituted for stone-ground mustard. Both are very similar.
