Nutella brownies are chocolatey, fudgy, and are loaded with Nutella for a boost of hazelnut goodness.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8-inch square baking pan or dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
Whisk the butter, sugar, vanilla, egg, and Nutella in a medium bowl. Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula until well combined.
Transfer batter to prepared baking pan. Use rubber spatula to spread out batter until it is even and extends to all corners.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the center of the brownies look almost set. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out almost clean with a few moist crumbs. Allow brownies to cool on wire rack before sprinkling with powdered sugar and cutting into squares.
Store brownies in an air tight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for no more than one week.
Brownies can be frozen for up to 3 months. They will need to be thawed overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
