Arrange pita bread on 2 large baking sheets (I fit 3 pita breads on each sheet). Place 2 tbsp of pizza sauce onto each pita bread and spread the sauce out using the back of the measuring spoon.
Sprinkle cheese on top of the sauce on each pizza. (Now this is where you can add any additional toppings).
Bake 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden and crisp. Top them off with fresh basil. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and parmesan. Slice and serve.
