sourdough bread

(12oz) can white albacore tuna, drained

cup
pickles
finely diced
1/4
cup
green onions
sliced

hard boiled egg
diced

mayonnaise

tbsp
lemon juice

teaspoon
pepper
1
tomato
thinly sliced into 8 slices

cup
sharp cheddar cheese
shredded
Instructions
Preheat the broiler. Spread the sliced bread out on a baking sheet and toast it for 3 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
In a medium bowl, break the tuna apart with a fork. Toss together pickles, green onions, hard boiled egg, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and pepper.
Spread out the tuna mixture on the toasted bread slices. Top with tomatoes and cheddar cheese.
Place back into the oven under the broiler until cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes. Serve immediately.
