Apple and Cinnamon Tart

This apple and cinnamon tart is easily made with 6 ingredients and comes together in a total of only 30 minutes. These thinly, sliced apples are coated with cinnamon and drizzled with honey. Think of it as a simple version of a traditional apple pie. This flaky tart can be served for brunch, as a snack, or even dessert. APPLE AND CINNAMON TART

Ingredients

  • 2 fiji apples thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 4 tablespoons honey divided
  • 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss together apples, cinnamon, and lemon juice until the apples are fully coated. Set aside.
  3. Roll out puff pastry and place on baking sheet. Spread half of the honey (2 tablespoons) on the puff pastry evenly.
  4. Arrange apple slices on puff pastry in a line.
  5. Brush the edges of the tart with egg and water mixture.
  6. Bake tart for 22-24 minutes.
  7. Drizzle with remaining honey and serve.
