Make summertime entertaining easy and beautiful with these blackberry fig crostini. Pick up those fresh seasonal fruit and put them to good use, it doesn’t get sweeter than this

Ingredients
  • 1 baguette
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 6-8 figs, thinly sliced
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Slice baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place in a single layer on a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.

  3. Combine honey, thyme, and lemon juice in a small bowl, set aside.

  4. Spread a layer of goat cheese on each baguette slice, top with blackberries and sliced fig. Drizzle with honey/thyme mixture right before serving.

Recipe Notes

If the blackberries are rather large in size, slice them in half before using.
