1cupdark chocolate or your favorite kindroughly chopped
toothpick and parchment paper
1/2tspsea saltmaldon or course
Instructions
Heat coconut oil in a small saucepan on low heat. Add dark chocolate and mix with a spoon continually as it melts so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. After about 3 minutes of mixing, I remove it from the heat and let the chocolate melt completely (about 2 minutes or so).
Using a toothpick, pick up a sliced piece of banana and dip in chocolate until it's fully covered in chocolate. Remove with the toothpick and carefully place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Repeat this process with the rest of the banana slices. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt. Place the baking sheet into the freezer for 2 hours.
Once these banana bites are completely frozen, you may remove them and eat them right away (tempting to eat all of them) or store them in a large ziplock bag in the freezer for up to a month.
