Zesty Lemon Tilapia

This tilapia dish calls for my favorite garlic & lemon combo. You can never go wrong with this combo! This dish is such a quick-and-easy weeknight dinner, not to mention, super satisfying, and delicious. It pairs well with roasted veggies, grains, or a basic caesar salad.

Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets about 6 oz each
  • 6 cloves garlic minced or pressed
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp parsley finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and olive oil; set aside.
  3. Season tilapia with salt and pepper and place in baking dish. Brush the tilapia with half of the garlic and lemon mixture. Flip the tilapia and repeat with remaining garlic and lemon mixture.
  4. Place into oven and bake for about 14-18 mins. Fish should flake easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
