Apple and Cinnamon Tart
This apple and cinnamon tart is easily made with 6 ingredients and comes together in a total of only 30 minutes. These thinly, sliced apples are coated with cinnamon and drizzled with honey. Think of it as a simple version of a traditional apple pie. This flaky tart can be served for brunch, as a snack, or even dessert. APPLE AND CINNAMON TART
Ingredients
- 2 fiji apples thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 4 tablespoons honey divided
- 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, toss together apples, cinnamon, and lemon juice until the apples are fully coated. Set aside.
- Roll out puff pastry and place on baking sheet. Spread half of the honey (2 tablespoons) on the puff pastry evenly.
- Arrange apple slices on puff pastry in a line.
- Brush the edges of the tart with egg and water mixture.
- Bake tart for 22-24 minutes.
- Drizzle with remaining honey and serve.
