Caprese Crostini
It doesn’t get easier then this Caprese crostini summer appetizer! We have classic flavors of mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil and the crostini are finished off with a balsamic glaze drizzle. (Jump to Recipe)
What are we looking at?..
Baguette slices are arranged on a sheet pan, drizzled with olive oil, and toasted in the oven until crispy and golden.
Halved mini mozzarella balls and cherry tomatoes arranged on the crusty baguette slices.
The crostini are then garnished with ribbons of fresh basil and drizzled with a tangy balsamic glaze.
The best part is that they take all of 12 minutes to put together, making summertime entertaining easy and effortless!

Caprese Crostini
Ingredients
- 1 baguette
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 12 oz mini mozzarella balls, cut in half
- 10 oz cherry tomatoes (if they are larger in size, cut in half also)
- 6-8 basil leaves, sliced
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Slice baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place in a single layer on a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
- Top each baguette slice with mozzarella, tomatoes, and then basil. Drizzle with balsamic glaze right before serving.
