Strawberry Pretzel Jello Dessert
Summertime doesn’t get more perfect without the addition of this strawberry pretzel jello dessert! It has a crunchy pretzel crust with a heavenly cream cheese center and last topped with a strawberry jello-y layer. (Jump to Recipe)
To make this strawberry pretzel jello dessert
Start by making the pretzel crust by combining crushed pretzels, brown sugar, and melted butter.
Lay the pretzel crust out on the bottom of a greased baking pan and bake for 10 minutes.
Let the pretzel crust cool to room temperature.
Next, beat together cream cheese and sugar. Then, fold in cool whip (don’t use the blender).
Spread out the cream cheese layer over the pretzel layer. Seal all the sides of the pan with this layer making sure the next jello layer will not leak through to the pretzel crust! Place into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
For the last jello layer, dissolve a packet of jello powder in hot boiling water. Stir the sliced strawberries into the same bowl as the jello. Let it cool to room temperature before adding it to the baking pan over the cream cheese layer.
Once the jello and strawberries have cooled, add them over the cream cheese layer. Use a fork to gently push the strawberries around and ensure they are evenly spread out. Refrigerate for an hour or until firm before serving.
